I have always wanted to see physically how my internal organs work and try to imagine what makes it what it is right now with all the daily stress and pressure that I put through every day in my life being positive, stay focused even when lights are down, stretching beyond every means just to fit in every eye evidence, picturesque constantly rolling by with an expression to vague its outlook.... I stand to change!
Why Discovery:
Discovery series is a project base aim at discovering the world through the visibility of empowering, developing, self awareness and impacting into the global society.
Method:
The approach to visit more than 10 developing countries through AIESEC International Exchange Platform using the Developmental Trainee-ship Program which was designed to focus directly on social issues creating avenues by initiating programs that will focus in driving a sustainable change in the world.
This approach is also in aligning with the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) agreed to achieve by the year 2015.
The MDG goals are:
- Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger.
- Achieve universal primary education.
- Promote gender equality and empower women.
- Reduce Child Mortality Rate.
- Improve maternal health.
- Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases.
- Ensure environmental sustainability.
- Develop a global partnership for development.
Discovering Countries & Project Focus Areas:
- Serbia
Specific Target: Youth/Children.

What shall be done:
- Work with AIESEC in Serbia Local committee to get Schools.
- Communicate with UNDP in Serbia for collaborative impact.- Segmentation of Local NGOs working align with MDG for Collaborative participation.
- Create an event on awareness of MDG goals using simple method process for Youth/Children knowledge.
- Initiate peer educators to spread the knowledge.
2. Bosnia and Herzegovina
Focused area in Bosnia are:
a. Poverty Reduction
- Specific activities will focus on social inclusion analysis, social statistics and support to census, capacity development as well as local level activities in the area of inter-cultural understanding as a basis for development.
- Poverty reduction is kept in focus through the Area-based Development projects including tackling unemployment with strong partnerships with the private sector.
b. HIV/AIDS
- Work with AIESEC in Bosnia local committee to get Schools and young adult association of friends or club.
- Scale up Information Education Communications on HIV/AIDS among young adult/children e.g. public awareness etc.
- Initiate AIDS club for peer educators against stigmatization.
- Visit to HIV/AIDS health centers.
- Collaborate NGOs on HIV/AIDS for public event.

My first discovery:
As part of my discovery plan in process, i was able to take part in a developmental trainee ship in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, worked on a project called Lesson of Tolerance & Stereotype in English Communication. Basically, i was Working as the assistant of the English teacher, helping children during English lessons, giving language trainings, specific country lessons, communicating with pupils on various subjects and moralities, organizing leisure time activity at school and Participating in some work-shops of cultural orientation.
The program is also open to volunteers who are inspired to participate in the discovery series.
The team will be highly responsible and multi-tasking monitoring their self performance and the performance of others through taking active roles in ensuring the process delivery while running the project. See diagram of team structure:
